Alison not good with his feet? Seriously?
I think he just got cold feet.
I too am dumbfounded after reading some of that drivel.
Heās not just good, heās very good. But not great. Nothing wrong in saying that.
Adrian has done it time after time.
Seriouslyā¦
Lets be straight up here, he was embarrassing last night. Amateurish and school boy mistakes and twice in 3 minutes. But its over the top to say he is not better than Adrian. He has been a top keeper in the world for a few seasons now.
Alisson is like Liverpool. Currently he is just a mess. But he is too colossus to be worthless. Make no mistake, he will be back; sooner the better.
Make no mistake, Iām pissed too.
Did my post come over as serious to you?
Whoās been saying that?
Iām after a good laugh after Allisonās performance yesterday.
Dont drink so much!
I think his ability with the ball at his feet is a huge strength. One of the best in the world. Apart from yesterday, obviously.
Well combine it with what you posted in the post match thread, yes.
Not the first time it happened. And it doesnāt have to end up as a direct mistake or a goal anyway. I donāt think heās great on the ball. Thereās been a lot of examples of that.
Why would you do that?
Btw What did I say in the post match thread?
I can not remember saying anything about Adrian there. Then again I I donāt remember much.
Really though post match threads are just that and for celebrating or letting off steam. Certainly not for combining with other unrelated threads. Get a grip man!
What this?
Adrian must be really shit
One thing I think is worth noting here is that for both of those incidents Alisson was basically asked to manage a passing move within his own 6 yard area. I donāt care how good you are with the ball at your feet but doing that with a gaping goal a couple of yards behind you and players bearing down on you is not easy by any means.
While they were certainly errors on his part he was put in an awkward position to start with.
I thought what we were doing was diabolical. Why werenāt we trying to get the ball forward?
We played ourselves into those situations not once but at least twice. You could feel it coming it was going on so long. Widiculous!
Because our front 3 decided they would stand still, their movement was woefully static all game. Bobby was walking at one point.
I thought the reason we moved Hendo back to center back was to take advantage of his ability to ping it long and accurately yet we hardly did it.
When we did drop it long in between their centerback/fullback we got a penalty.
And that free kick on the edge of the box.
I have been complaining about us messing about in our own penalty are for ages. Playing out from the back is fine but not if you give the opposition time to close you down and make life difficult. Because we always do it teams will hassle us and take advantage of any mistakes. We should vary our tactics more.
