It’s a theme I’ve gone over a bit today, but Robbo hardly plays these days and Salah’s legs have gone.
But that doesn’t mean they won’t be a huge miss for the club. We’re going to really miss their character and professionalism around the club. The standards they set. It’s a couple more from our golden age under Klopp disappearing.
Who takes vice captain? I’d have said Szobozslai was a shoo in, but after his bullshit over the last week or two I’m really not sure.
From the very first sprint down the left flank to the countless moments of pure grit and passion, Andy Robertson didn’t just play for Liverpool — he embodied it.
Relentless. Fearless. Unstoppable.
He gave everything every single game — the tackles, the assists, the leadership, the fire. Whether it was a perfectly whipped cross or chasing down a lost cause in the 90th minute, Andy Robertson reminded us what it means to wear the badge with pride.
He wasn’t just the best left-back for Liverpool in the Klopp and Slot— he was the heartbeat of a team that made history.
Thank you for the memories, the passion Robbo.
Thank you for never giving less than 100%.
You’ll always be one of us.

It is going to be horrendous saying goodbye to both Robbo and Mo on the last day of the season.
God I love that sequence against City at the beginning. Everyone loves it because of the enthusiasm, but the execution is absolutely textbook. With the emotion of the crowd egging him on, the amount of ground he had to cover, it would have been the easiest thing in the world to end up selling himself by over committing when chasing down someone as good on the ball as Ederson is, but look what he does. He slows down, and he angles his run slightly away from Ederson. It makes it harder to close him down quickly enough to win the ball, but makes him more predictable in the direction Ederson can go in. The result is he knew the ball could only go to Otamendi and that Otamendi is far easier to nick it from. It was only a weak dive and bad refereeing that turned that into a free kick rather than one of the best goals the stadium had ever seen.
And you’re right, it will be horrendous on the final day. The rest of them should go down the tunnel and stay there, let Robbo and Mo take all the acclaim.
For me Robbo is the best LB the club has ever had. Alan Kennedy is in the conversation but Robbo just shades it. I can’t pay him a higher compliment than that.
Quite sad about this, from the dayhe arrived he was good for 100%,a charcter and a leader.Clearly his legs have gone, they have covered a lot of ground.Wherever he goes sure it will work for him, that is Robbo.
