Legend. To me one of the classic example of Liverpool football club. Becoming one of the best LBs, if not the best, in the whole of PL era considering his price and the clubs he played for, I donāt think anyone would think he would be leaving the club as the best and winning everything he possibly could in club foot all. Only his attitude outdo his abilities. Respect for the club, the city, the fans and for team mates, he will always be a legend for us.

What a player, what a man. You came and conquered and did it all showing your incredible character the whole time in good times and bad. What you gave to the dressing room and the enjoyment you put into my journey at that incredible Club canāt be put into words mate.

He was asked about him in the pre-match press conference. Itās the first question here. Basically a lot of waffle but he said that lack of game time was the reason he is leaving.

Yes, unfortunately that was to be expected. Robbo got far too little, if any, playing time. Sigh. Although we often needed his fighting spirit and leadership qualities, there was no way he could get back into the team. He was only allowed on the pitch in emergencies, and heās still far too good for that, to be honest.

Yes, I feel he could/should have played more at the start of the season, whilst Kerkez was finding his feet. I believe it would have helped Kerkez integrate faster and better. Also keep a leader on the pitch.
However itās clear Kerkez is now one of our best players having past Roboās current levels by some margin now. So it probably would have ended the same.
What a player we had never gave up and full of fight, we see this in Kerkez as well which is good for the future. Iām going to miss that humour though.

Gutted Robbo is leaving. Heās been fantastic, won the lot and cost Ā£8m.
Kerkez has some way to go be as good as peak Robbo (he can start by stop putting his arms behind his back for a start!).
The team Klopp assembled is no more. Only Virg and Ali remain and I wouldnāt be surprised to see them moved on in the summer.

Kerkez shouldāve been slowly integrated into the team, especially with Slot asking Kerkez to play inverted for those early games.

You only have to see who his likely suitors will be interested in hiring him many from the premier league and quite a few from the Italian league, to find out that his stock is still high around Europe. It baffles me how we are not able to hold on to our experienced players. If they bring Tsimikas back as a backup I will go mad!

His career is drawing to a close, and all he wants is to get more regular playing time. Thatās not possible here, as even the squad players arenāt rotated consistently. Slot has left our vice-captain languishing on the bench. I understand his desire to move on, and I hope he finds a new club where he can find all that and where his qualities are truly appreciated again.

I think his only problem was his inability to play at a high level twice or even 3 times a week and imo we could have rotated him and Kerkez to play alternate games.
