Anfield and Kirkby

That 7% voted for cheaty ground suggests it’s not a representative sample…

Fans voting for their own clubs. Standard with these silly votes.

Forest, Palace, and Brentford have better atmospheres than most up there.

I’m sure Man Utd has been bottom of these lists a few times recently.

Until October?

I’m thinking for safety concerns, which of course is paramount, wouldn’t it be a bit of a worry to have 5000 + the away fans seated in the lower tier with an uncomplete cladding/roofing? Perhaps closing off the entire stand would be better for all?

The roofing is fine, check the video’s.

I love this new stand already… The architects smartly manage to avoid the ‘L-effect’ of this big stand placed next to the main stand (like in Newcastle for instance). It remains visually smaller than the main stand with its massive roof truss, and creates an intelligent visual transition towards the King Kenny stand. Still, it is very impressive and will hopefully generate a lot of additional atmosphere inside Anfield, as it remains near to the pitch, just like the main stand.

Can’t tell for the inside, but based on these videos, this is really, really good work by all sides involved. We go from a small, outdated, badly conceived stand to an absolute beauty. What’s not to like about that?

When i went to see it in May, it was spectacular. Inside, they have escalators to go up 6 floors and each floor, there seems to be so much space and there seems to alot of natural light coming in. It felt like a very pleasant ambience.
