These shows were so ahead of their times.
Also there was an anime series. I might not be remembering the name but something like ninja robots which was really cool as well
Surely Doraemon would rank up there as all time classic globally
And from the same Mangaka, this one was from mid-1980s (Dr Slump & Arale. Arale is an android built by Dr Slump). It’s hilarious. Amongst the many characters, Superman, Mr Spock were being made fun of.
Another I absolutely love from the late-80s early-90’s was Ranma 1/2, The mangaka is the one that did InuYasha.

MY childhood shows were mostly cartoon shows, so it is still animated. Here goes, I am an oldie, but a goldie. Not in any order.
- The Magic Roundabout
- Paddington
- TopCat
- Roobarb and Custard
- The Adventure of Rupert The Bear
- The Wombles
- The Banana Splits
- The Muppet show
- The Scooby Do show
- Tom and Jerry Show
- The Pink Panther- loved the theme tune
- Josie and the Pussycats
- Bugs Bunny.
I didn’t really discover Japanese Anime until the 1990s, so not that knowledgeable on that topic.
Classic tune and cartoon maria always reminds me of this guy aswell.
Top Cat was a great watch. Half tempted to watch the reruns of it again.
He was such a cheeky little shite
How could I forget Animaniacs!
