And from the same Mangaka, this one was from mid-1980s (Dr Slump & Arale. Arale is an android built by Dr Slump). It’s hilarious. Amongst the many characters, Superman, Mr Spock were being made fun of.
Another I absolutely love from the late-80s early-90’s was Ranma 1/2, The mangaka is the one that did InuYasha.

I didn’t really discover Japanese Anime until the 1990s, so not that knowledgeable on that topic.
