Arne Slot - Head Coach

MO must be thinking… If I’m going, I will take AS with me..!

The really sad thing is… It is Jurgens legacy they are destroying

But Mo is just standing up for Mo, no one else, if he was then I would have a little bit of sympathy, with what he has said he sounds entitled.

One of the reasons I wouldn’t make a good coach is I’m too petty. If I were LFC coach I’d play Gakpo as a LB and tell him to keep making overlapping runs all game, but tell the rest of the team if they pass the ball to Gakpo they’re all getting fined. Let him run up blind alleys all game and keep getting overlooked to see how he likes it.

Being our most important player for the last 8,5 years just to be pushed out like that. Unused sub for the last three games and potentially the next two too which look like could be his last at the club. Mo earned the right to speak out.

I won Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference coach of the year this season after guiding my girls’ high school team to a playoff spot.

All you have to do is call Liverpool…

I saw this, and I have to say I wasn’t sure what you meant.

You mean he exaggerated for effect? Something lost in translation? Or Mo is game playing, and shouldn’t believe him.

I would have more understanding if these comments had been given when someone shoved a microphone under his nose after a game when his blood is up - like happens to Slot twice a week. But it was a calculated, premeditated attack. We’ve in the past Mo speaks when it benefits Mo.

Unused Sub he came on at half time against Sunderland???

I completely disagree, he only speaks to media for his own end very rarely to help the team or push the team especially this year!

Also, the team comes first over any player and his performances haven’t warranted starting, but he isn’t the only one.

I can applying with my Level one coaching badge. I’m not sure what I can bring tactically, but if Virgil or Gakpo need their laces tying I can do that.

I can see Jurgen taking the reigns in January. Mission get top 4. Then evaluate in summer i Jurgen has the desire for it again, or we do look long term.

Still a young man in manager terms really!!

Don’t worry, our next 5 are Inter, Brighton, Spurs, Wolves and Leeds.

We’re guaranteed like at least 25 points there, we’ll be back amongst the top in no time.

Someone posted a comment. I hadn’t read the interview so I Googled ‘Salah’ …it was the first 5 stories that came up. Not that hard.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

How about the Gobby ex side kick who Ljinders replaced or the quiet bloke who whispers to Klopp? What about Klopp’s wife she loves Liverpool :joy:

While some of this may be Mo throwing a bit of a tantrum, you’d have to wonder if a similar feeling is had amongst the other players regarding their relationship with Slot.
We shouldn’t be performing this bad, but we are and players tend to turn(privately) rather than look at themselves even though publicly they may say otherwise.
Right now I don’t think it’s looking good for Slot. I think he’ll have to turn this around quickly or he lose more of them and then he’s gone.

He has been on the bench for the last three games. Many would say justifiably. My opinion is Slot gave him chance after chance, hoping we would get something like his previous level.

I wouldn’t equate that to being pushed out of the club. It’s on Mo to say I will train as hard as I can every day, and when the manager calls on me to play, I will do my utmost for the team.

I don’t like the drama he is making with his comments, and that more than anything else will bring his time here to a conclusion sooner rather than later.

I completely agree there are a number of players who are not performing as they should be.

The focus in this instance is on Mo, as he is the one who has spoken out after being benched.

It’s hard to know what has been said or not said privately between Slot and Salah. Publicly Slot has been very gracious towards Salah.

What we do know is Salah has been benched by Slot. Many would say justifiably. And then unfortunately, and unprofessionally, Salah has gone public with his comments today and blown the whole thing up.

That’s not on.

I wonder if Salah would have had the audacity to say this if we hadn’t dropped points today.

I assume he is referring to this Beeb article
