I’d hate to be a @cynicaloldgit but I think it’s more the idea that it’s not particularly authentic, just posting his reactions in a way to attract maximum views.
Mascot calls it manufactured outrage. Maybe more so for other people like Flying Pig United. I think they are funny. Their opinion isn’t miles off of the opinion of the standard United fan. Those guys gave me a lot of grief during the fergy days. So their outrage , manufactured or not, is funny.
It’s gratifying to hear us being spoken about like that, but it’s way too early.
Any team can go on a three game run. Let’s see how we’re doing by Halloween.
We’ve got Forest next, and that is going to be hard. They’ll be bang up for it after the injustice of conceding an incorrect drop ball, then fannying about for two minutes before finally letting a goal in.
Let’s face it, he has a lot to be angry about seeing who he supports, so I’d cut him some slack. He does do excellent objective posts though. His is actually my favourite LFC appreciation YouTube showcase.
Unrelated though, I’ve been really surprised by some of the things Scholes has been saying about us recently. I’ve seen him on two or three panels, some before a ball was even kicked this season, where talk of our weakness in midfield was being raised and he just rejected it outright focusing instead on what they are good at, and arguing that in that they are exceptional. It’s funny the contrast with Neville thinking that Slot would prefer Utd’s midfield to his own, and Scholes knows what he’s looking at and talks about Mac and Dom as two players he’d walk over broken glass to have at United.
