Arne Slot - Head Coach

It is a bit sussed that this 100 thing cropped up recently.

So if somebody uses this 100 games total as a statistic (owners maybe, do they even watch the games, can they only see the positive bits) and forget the performances have been on the most part piss poor since March 2025. Then the difference equals 9 additional defeats compared to the first 50.

No one really cared for that though last May as it brought home a record equalling 20th title.

The draws are roughly the same as the first 50 so sort of not in consideration. Even though a lot of this seasons draws have been the most frustrating games to watch for fans. But this 100 ratio thing is not interested in Coach/Team/Player performances.

So listed below is all defeats in the latter 50 - and then you could add which ones would be definitely expected to be victories as a benchmark from an ownerships perspective? - I’m only realistically seeing 4 matches. So is the difference therefore only 4? Hardly jumps out at you as a club in a crisis period. There are plenty of matches still to be played of course and the ratio could look far worse overall for Slot. But they aren’t even in contention as the metric is 50 vs 50 = 100

It’s sounding more like a club prepared media thing now to get in more perspective.

If Alonso doesn’t fancy the pressure that goes with the LFC job, then I would expect Slot is given an extension :man_shrugging:

And it really is a long yawn of a read, so if you got this far then apologies.

I’ve made that comparison before. I think he probably shares Rafa’s vision of players being cogs in a machine and possibly a similar lack of communication skills.

So if there’s any announcement about to be made imminently, then my post 1 minute ago is totally and completely redundant and I would like to retract it haha :see_no_evil_monkey:

Oh no, KFC are rereleasing the Zinger?!?!?!

Oh you may not be aware , but indie is reliable now he went all pro since Ornstein referred to the summer transfer window “as the summer of indie”.

Even though our very own @Walshy07 aka Bayern space did as he told everyone about wirtz before wirtz even knew what was happening.

I mean… broken clock still right twice a day and all that, but he’s still even less reliable than Irish Rail, which says an absolute lot!

That is too generic to draw any smart conclusions out of it.

Nah, Benitez had a plan, I wasn’t his biggest fan, too negative for me in his approach, but he at least had a tactical approach.

That’s actually just what he thinks not saying it’s not going happen but he’s actually not very committal about anything in that

And here it is, some scoop this

Really not a good word (and capitalised) being used by Indy with wars going on everywhere.

It’s a bold move targeting Nagore to be the new DoF, but she obviously has a close relationship with Xabi already so it could work

I am glad I didn’t watch yesterday the horror show.Slot is clueless but that’s not something new.He has lowered the standard so much that losing to Gala and Wolves in a week doesn’t feel like a shock anymore.

Steadfast behind him, yet there’s been zero talks of a new contract. Hmm.

That’s why you judge their actions, not their words. They’re going to publicly back Slot all the way until they sack him.
