as the players they have signed the last few years have been really poor

Very odd signing in an emergency. Relies heavily on the coaching staff and JK to get him quickly up to PL standard because it’s a big step up from the Championship and he needs to be ready to go immediately. I’m still holding out hope that another more experienced CB might also be coming.

You know what, Billy, I’m also thinking that a deal for a senior CB might be set in motion now that a deal for a fourth choice CB is arranged and that we’ll hear about in the coming weeks, a bit like Keita (only without injuries!).
