I guess we will see a few changes today from the weekend game against Watford.
That would be a very sensible solution, I thought of it myself too.
In midfield, I expect Fabinho to start alongside Thiago and Hendo on the bench to replace either of them later. The third option could be one of Elliott or Milner.
In attack, I would start Diaz as he knows Benfica. Maybe Jota as well (he is Portuguese) alongside Salah on the right.

I think it’s sort of expected.
1 change at the back, 1 in midfield and 1-2 in attack.
Also 5 subs, so we can change if we’re struggling or doing well and can afford to rest.

That lineup is fucking brilliant, IMO, and with 5 subs, we should have more than enough to smash these cunts and rest some key players for the weekend.
Happy to see Trent get the start, feel like these minutes will be valuable in getting him up to speed for the weekend.

That bench under Klopp will qualify for CL.
I’m a bit disappointed not to see Tsimikas against Watford or Benfica.
Keita and/or Thiago will most like be take off between the 60-80m mark. Nice side.

Konate partners VVD… probably meaning Matip will be back in against Man City, and I think he has the better positioning, which will be important then.
Henderson sits this one out… probably meaning he will start against Man City? If so, a proper captain’s performance then will work a treat, as his leadership and drive will be important.
Pace up front for Benfica - they have old central defenders, and we look well placed to run them ragged. I could see Bobby’s skillset being used against Man City.
All things considered, I love it.
