So PSG want for Barcola what it’ll cost them to sign Akliouche, Godts and Ferran? If they get that then it’s pretty damn good business by them.

They got good money for Kang-in Lee and Goncalo Ramos as well, and will probably also sell Mbaye this window - hopefully to us.
So they seem to be doing a complete overhaul of their second string attackers.

Which is fascinating because they all played a good amount last season. They rotated to the point of almost having a CL side and Ligue Un version. It could just be an attempt to stave off staleness, where those players know they arent getting the big games unless there are injuries or suspensions and complacency sets in.

I think that’s exactly why they’re doing it. For me that seems like a good approach when you have a clear big game starting lineup like they do, switching things up behind those players. Something maybe Liverpool could have done more of during the Klopp years?
We see now even Barcola, who has an important role and is a player who could start a big CL game for them without many eyebrows being raised, thinks it’s time to go somewhere to be more of a cornerstone.

He’s not wrong - there are only 3 Hughes working days left in the transfer window so this needs to get done on the 14th or 21st, Mbaye or a midfielder on the 28th

Careful what you wish for - move on from shopping at M&S, Waitrose or Booths for a value option and you might end up with Temu Pukki or off brand Pedro Netto

We really ought to hurry up with the Barcola deal, because if the Bezos minority deal gets announced now, he’ll probably cost 200 million.
Although I still think we should just buy little Mbaye.

This is has gone awfully quiet.
Presumably PSG are waiting to buy before they sell. Not sure how concrete the Ferran Torres rumours are, but it might depend on that.
