Not to discredit the encyclopedic knowledge of smtm_LFC1975 off of the internet but wouldn’t Sky Italia be the Italian version of Sky?
That aside neither of the clubs or players involved are Italian and don’t play in Italy so it would be odd they get the scoop ahead of anyone else but here’s hoping they are right - guess we’ll find out after Friday when Hughes next checks his inbox

It’s not just the wages on the book. He should be pressing to play more games. Doing everything in power in training etc to impress the manager. It’s just not happening for him.

If that is “our” smtm, then we are not signing Barcola.
If we need a striker to be the third striker (or the second striker till Ekitike comes back) , we will need to buy one.
There won’t be any good striker who will be let go by their club on a loan. Forget good , not even half decent
The price for Gakpo should be upwards of 60 or close to 70m for us to even countenance letting him go.

I think Iroala will rotate you could even put Wirtz there in some games.
I doubt we will buy anyone. Interesting to see William Wright in the proper squad, maybe that’s Iraola’s thinking.
Do expect him to use the youngsters.

I’m thinking Barcola will play on his favored left side for the most part. We’re probably looking to play Mbaye on the right wing and have him compete with the likes of Ngumoha.
Yes we have shortage of natural right wingers, but Iraola should be able to make it work.

That ITK Space fella (off Twitter) reckons Arsenal went for him but Arteta’s pitch wasn’t compelling. He got a load of Bayern related stuff right last year (Wirtz/Gakpo/Diaz) and went early with Liverpool’s Barcola interest, so currently has a veneer of credibility.
