I chose the option how utterly impressed PSG were with our negociating team. Akthough I hesitated between this and ‘PSG are devastated to lose the France international, but the pull of Liverpool was too great for Barcola to resist.’

They were reportedly asking for quite a lot. That doesnt mean they will continue to stand firm on that. We have now already seen them move quite a lot on Barcola to make a move happen that their prior singings kind of necessitates (and maybe justifies our patience while anxiety was growing among fans). Maybe they are less inclined to feel the need move Mbaye on because its probably just easer having a player of his profile around for another year fighting for minutes, but maybe it suggests that PSG are open to coming down on that one as well?
