Bradley Barcola (LW/RW) PSG

Yeah but he is too slow….

Looks like this one is done. Welcome Bradley…now prove your doubters wrong (including me ).
Get match fit soon as you haven’t played any minutes in pre-season and help the new boss on the pitch. Good luck lad :crossed_fingers:

Alvarez can also play on the right can’t he?

I wouldn’t count my chicken right now. Plenty of time yet for this to go tits up.

This is Hughes PR signing of the summer…no way this doesn’t get done Atleast. We can focus on other signings now.

He’s gonna work in the PR department? I thought he was a winger

I don’t trust Hughes, even on that one, even at that stage. Hopefully I’m wrong.

Edit: oh, and I don’t trust those PSG fuckers either.

I’ve reached agreement in principle with the Missus that it’s her turn to cook dinner.
She’s deep in an e-book and my stomach is rumbling.

Yes! It’s been Here we go’d by others as well, and of course the main man Fabrizio himself.

So.. Who’s next? Plenty of window left, look alive everyone!

Bad deal on your part not to include a time frame. She will cook the next dinner, just whenever she feels like it. Better strap in, this dinner could be a long transfer saga

Yes Romano gave it the here we go 9 minutes ago…

Obviously a small sample size, but good returns playing on the right

If all of this was just so we could potentially upgrade Gakpo I’ll be pissed.

Fine doing that kind of thing with a balanced squad who are firing on all cylinders but when you’re coming off the back of a rough season with no one performing well and with a squad yet to find its identity and holes all over the place it seems mad that this has been the main focus.

It’s almost as if we’ve got fixated on a good player being available and put all our focus there and then a week away from the window closing thought shit, we haven’t got anyone for the other side yet.

And that’s no slight on Barcola but it’s essentially a net spent of £40-£50m to address a want rather than a need whilst some of the needs are still to be resolved.

He will be played on left wing only. Assurances have been given…I think it was in an article from Joyce.

  • PSG are devastated to lose the France international, but the pull of Liverpool was too great for Barcola to resist.
  • The capture of the coveted Barcola represents a huge coup for the outgoing Richard Hughes
  • Barcola scores higher than any other player who has moved this summer in the essential progressive ball carries and take ons under pressure resulting in a chance created higher than 0.5xG metric that Liverpool value highly.
  • No Left wing player has profiled as highly for Liverpool as Barcola since Sadio Mane.
