It’s frightening to think of what the fall out might be. On the one hand he’s a nobody, a useful nobody, but ultimately a nobody. But, he can easily be used to justify something more horrid.
It could even have been done by the Russians themselves.

Well I’m assuming 42 years (if he lives that long) in Walton prison isn’t going to be much fun.

Surely, it is better that he stays alive, so the Drug Cartel people can also be brought to justice, in order to stop bringing drugs and crime to the streets, if Cashman gives names to the police.
Also, the intended target, Nee, whatever his name is, he was also a nasty piece of work, he was convicted for burglaries. What happens to him?

This should give the police a good foothold in dismantling some of the goings on between differing factors now Maria… Not one of them can be 100% sure now of past and present crimes being exposed to come back and haunt them

Out of curiosity, i wanted to know, why was there a hit on Nee, what his link with Cashman?
This is something you see in films, not reality. I am really shocked about cases like this and the Rhys Jones one. Always the innocent are in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

This was the third attempt on Nee… The lines are still blurred with what is behind anything like this, but these gangs/factions set-up cannabis farms in various locations in and out of the City… can be worth up to 100k very quickly. Rumoured that Nee burgled and ripped off one of these places that belonged to another faction a few years ago - Cashman, apparently was a ‘go to’ guy if people wanted to keep their own hands clean - Cashman, again apparently, had heard through the grapevine Nee was putting a hit on him because of the earlier failed attempts… so he needed to act quickly, and as it proved to be, rashly to get in first…
Unfortunately Maria… the old style underworld is getting pushed aside by these gangs that live life as though they are in some sort of computer game…
It’s not just computer games, though. Other popular media, including film, television and music, all glorify the gangster lifestyle.
Really sets a bad example to children.
