The EU wished they could take bigger actions on Russia but the fact remains that with all the posturing and “sanctions” the EU is still doing significant trade with Russia. It needs Russia as much as Russia needs the money.

Was just walking those same streets less than two weeks ago.
Absurd to me that a personal vehicle could get through there to perpetuate that kind of damage. NOLA law enforcement gonna be taken to task, probably.
Latest report is that there is a flag in the truck bed with something in black on it. No reporting on what type of flag.

Apparently construction on permanent barriers began in November, so the usual measures they used to block off the Bourbon Street area were not in place, just some fairly flimsy traffic barriers.

Had to dodge numerous cones and barrels when we were walking Bourbon St. Quite a bit of construction/repair going on almost every other intersection. Driving through there looked nigh on impossible.
