I don’t have time to trawl right now. I’ve started to work.
Sure. If you’ve got the time. Check it out.
I’m not in any illusions here. But I’m really not getting any info on that. Even with a VPN.

Fake news! India hasn’t said anything, so it can’t be true!
Chinese defence stocks spiked earlier today after the revelation, since this is the first combat test of their formidable long range missile PL-15E had been used to down the jets.
Losses in war are inevitable but hard to look past the Indian planners not prioritising suppression of air defence in their strike package for whatever reason. Lack of Intel, lack of the weapon systems required, oversight. Who knows.
Fear of war (controlling the escalation).
Indian pilots were specifically banned from targeting Pakistani air defence and units for escalatory reasons, it has been reported. This is a dance between two states that truly wants to hurt each other, but are not really sure how to do it safely.
I vote for my favourite solution: lock the warmongers in a room to fight each other to the death with bare hands, and leave the victors to starve to death.
Let the civilians continue to live their lives in peace.
That’s a strange one and an almighty stupid decision as it’s given Pakistan the ‘gloating’ rights and leaves India with having to go bigger to clean the egg off their face or just bear the losses. Also from a personnel point of view they’re going up literally knowing they’ve been given the short end of the stick with having to conduct their operations within active air defense envelopes.
That’s a half baked way to conduct an operation.
Yes !
They are bombing Pakistani GBAD today though, having been burned.

At this point, while we don’t have wreckage footage of all Rafaeles (but we have of the other wrecks), I am inclined to believe the Pakistani statement that was just released since the contine to insist on the number of 5 downed planes:

Right now:

Striking Lahore airport with drones now, escalating, likely because of their immense fuck up and bloody nose.

So there will be obviously pakistani retaliation. Will be interesting in the Chinese sense to see how that plays out. India is ready for it,but I doubt Pakistan will be as arrogant as the Indian operational planners. But who knows, maybe Pakistan gets their air fleet wrecked too.

This is by far now the biggest escalation since 1971 and therefore we and moving into very dangerous territory. Neither state had nukes back then.
There’s been a blackout of news here. Not surprising.
Atleast I can read some here.
Don’t mean blackout as in blackout.
It’s just that I can see some rather unbiased views here.
Pakistan’s economy won’t stand a full fledged war. It’s more a retaliation at this point by India basing on the jets which have been shot down.
It’s dangerous now. India is hitting targets that are very sensitive today. Vey sensitive. I am a bit worried tbh. I understand why they do it after the loss of the many aircrafts, but the targets they are hitting now are far more sensitive than terrorist camps, striking Lahore, Karachi and more; targeting Pakistani air defence and bases.
I’m having that news feeding in too.
It’s just that what you’ve posted helps me keep some perspective.
True, true; but when you strike with air power, you sort of run that risk.
Obviously this will force Pakistani retaliation, as in a larger Pakistani attack. How then can India deescalate if the Pakistani attack will be successful, that is the worry here, because we are now in an escalatory spiral pretty much forced by face saving.
