Arminia Bielefeld beat Fortuna Düsseldorf 5-1 in Saturday evening’s Second Bundesliga match. And no joke: Arminia is a promoted team. And also no joke: Last season, in May, Arminia Bielefeld reached the final of the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) as a Third Division club. Some of you may have noticed that.

The Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen was filled with 62.081 spectators as FC Schalke 04 has did won 2-1 against Hertha BSC. Today, Hannover 96 did beat 1. FC Kaiserslautern with 1-0 and the domestic Heinz-von-Heiden-Arena was filled with 49.000 spectators. Both venues was sold out.
