The Quanz - Always a Red

Told you - just another academy player overrated by our fanbase :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Have absolutely no sympathy for Bayern. I don’t mind if they put 5 past arsenal etc though. But as a non German , I’d rather other teams win the Bundesliga every year.

But diaz done right by Liverpool

For me, it’s like this: when Bayern plays in the Champions League, I always support the opposition. It’s a matter of principle. Whether it’s Arsenal, Feyenoord or Royale Union Saint-Gilloise. Others here in Germany say that UEFA’s five-year ranking is what counts. But I don’t care about that.

I also always support the opposition in European competitions when SC Freiburg, RB Leipzig, SV Werder Bremen, FC St. Pauli or Union Berlin are playing. In other words, when these clubs play or would play in a European competition, I hope they are eliminated as early as possible. I also have an aversion to these clubs.

Why SC Freiburg? It has to do with this (perhaps the user @Bekloppt can translate it here). I also dislike the ideological glorification of this club (praising them to the skies just because they achieve a lot with modest resources). Why RB Leipzig? Quite simply: it’s an advertising construct of Red Bull. Why SV Werder Bremen and FC St. Pauli? I’m a fan of HSV and these two clubs are arch rivals. Why Union Berlin? Because their fans disgust me.

Furthermore, when Liverpool FC plays, I always support the ‘Reds.’ When I say ‘always,’ I mean even against Freiburg or Borussia Dortmund or Eintracht Frankfurt. Only if they were playing against Hamburger SV would it be different. For me, once HSV, always HSV!

Why?

Freiburg lost their shit after a game against Hamburg in 2018 and one of the players said that he hoped they (Hamburg) would be relegated.

Thank you, but I do understand. I am comes from Germany. @Bekloppt are British and lives in Germany, for this reasons, he can translate this article for User, they can not understand German.

To bekloppt:

A hard fan from Union Berlin has said rubbish about Hamburg SV.

Don’t mean to disturb you, but you’ll probably find some fan or some player from every single club in Germany who has said something you don’t like about HSV. Nothing about HSV, the same could be said about most clubs with any tradition.

Almost definitely includes Liverpool too (fans) and every club with a large fan base

It’s always very easy to find reasons to be spiteful in sport, if one goes looking for them.

I agree with and very much respect the intense Bayern dislike though, as well as the outrage against the Red Bull clubs, which I also undestand but which is a bit less important to me as a foreigner.

Personally. I think there’s a lot to like about Union Berlin. Its a club with strong roots in the community and a close relationship to Its fans.

Today, my Hamburger SV has do avoided a embarassing against the fifth division club FK Pirmasens. Until the second minute of the stoppage time has leaded Pirmasens after a goal from Yannick Griess, the fan of “Rothosen”, before Guilherme Ramos has can equalize for Hamburg. In the extra-time, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer has did scored the 2-1 winning goal for Hamburger SV. The second division club VfL Bochum has won 3-1 after extra time against the fourth division club BFC Dynamo.
