Schalke sacked their manager again.

They should hire Slaven Bilić

Hope that another HSV doesn’t happen with them if/when they go down.

If you look at the recent past in the Bundesliga - it happened with Stuttgart. It happened with Hamburg. It’s very likely that Schalke are next and probably Bremen in the next one or two years.

All not results of one bad year but of 3-5 years bad work / bad decisions in management. Bad appointments in coaching and other positions. Too many coaches being sacked etc. Bad scouting…

Something similar could happen with Arsenal. Not saying they will go down but they might get stuck at 8-14 for the next decade.

Clubs like Leicester and Southampton are doing great jobs while Arsenal are making bad decision after bad decision.

It did not start with Arteta or Emery IMO. It started with Wenger staying 2 or 3 years too long.

Union pulling off a big one here.

Another very good team performance from them so far, disciplined and working hard

Really well stated. Union are so well drilled and disciplined.

EDIT: if they hold on for all 3 points here look at that table. Unthinkable, really, to see them in 5th and only one point off top 4.

I know Dortmund are in disarray and many of their players out of form at the moment but this is a fairly big scalp for Union to claim.

Union won
They were very unlucky to get just two points from the previous three games.

So there’s a chance that we could actually get some money for him? That would be a result.

Think his contract expires on June.

His contract with Liverpool expires in 2023, so we’re in a good position here.

Yeah sorry, my bad. It’s his work-permit that has kept him away from Liverpool.

Yeah, that’s the only “problematic” factor.
