CL Group Stage. Match 2. Lask vs Liverpool. Wednesday 14th October. 1745 hrs

Diaz was the best from left wing in attack to right back when he saw noone else reacting. We could do with some of that now!

The team need to win this game to get their confidence back and to cheer up us fans.

Need a strong response to the weekend’s humiliation. Come on Reds, raise hell.

Trent was a much better defender than Frimpong. It’s a poor comparison to make.

And he is mostly employed at right back, so we have to judge him as a right back in this circumstance.

Then blame the scouts, the manager and trent for leaving :face_with_tongue: but don’t blame the gy who is not a right back for being played at right back. If you mean basic football stuff like 50/50s that would be a different matter but i can’t racall anyone ever saying he was a traditional right back and great at being that, from conversations i’ve had over the years about him, when he wasn’t at our club.

Where has he played this season?

You’re looking to argue over nothing to be honest.

wasn’t an argument. was just saying why i wouldn’t judge him as a traditional right back. You are more than welcome to your opinion.

Where did he play when he came on yesterday?

When Frimpong arrived most were saying he is a right back so that’s what I thought we were getting. I can not remember anyone suggesting he was other than a right back.

I wasn’t here. I converse with friends who support teams outside of the english leagues. He is a right mid/right wing that does reasonably well in an attacking 3 5 2 - 5-3-2. .. he’s a pace /dribbling merchant.

Christ, I’d forgotten Endo and Chiesa aren’t registered for this. What a fucking shitshow, there is genuinely no point them being here.

Yet his last full game against Spurs he was very good and in this game came on whilst we were down to 10 men.

I hope we can do well in Europe.

Just bring on the League Cup team to play against them. It’s LASK, after all.

Unfortunately with the injuries right now there isn’t a whole lot of choice, the fit players will play. We can only hope some of them are back for the weekend.

A few weeks into the season and we’re already down to the bones and lacking options.
No real options to rotate in midfield, the usual long injury list and 2 experienced squad players who aren’t even registered. Again we’ll end up playing people who should be getting rested for the likes of this game.
Still, we added another super-duper shiney £100+ million vanity buy in the summer so all’s good.

Doesn’t count, and you’re still on duty mate, tough games coming up and not the time to risk the thread opener. We played great and we’re all over them.

The PGMOL need to add an apology to you as well, this is insufficient (it’s insufficient anyway, but you know what I mean).
