Already well on his way to being the second best player from Northern Ireland to play for us.

Would be interesting to see how Klopp integrates both Trent and him in the playing XI going forward

It might mean that Trent is permanently pushed to playing as the right sided midfielder.

             Nunez

Diaz Soboszlai Salah
Mac Trent
Robbo VVD Konate Bradley

Might just be the first choice XI for the next season.

Add Jota,Gakpo,Jones,Grav,Elliot,Clark, Endo as very able bench strength and we’ve got a midfield and attacking line which is very very strong.

Reminds me of Andy Robertson.

Could he swim faster than a shark?

Could’ve had a hattrick of assists if Gakpo stuck his 1 away early first half.

The worst thing about him is that beard.

It’s like he is inspired by Nu-metal from the years before he was even born :joy:

Chino Moreno, surely?!

Any footballer’s career will have ups and downs, but he has showed a ton recently (particularly yesterday) to be really excited about. Grit, athleticism, and quality – if you’re good enough, you’re old enough, and seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Whoever is in charge, it’s about managing minutes and keeping him healthy through his development, but there seems to be a potentially special player here.

Certainly a role for him and Trent here.

It’s really exciting that potentially Klopp has set up this side for future years to come and FSG will at least stick to that aim.

Well done to the lad for his first senior goal for us. He scored seven for Bolton last season, so clearly has an eye for goal.

Tonight’s was the first of many, I’m sure.

This kid is going to cry when Klopp leaves

Why? Do you seriously think that our next manager is going to bin him off?

Don’t think so.

I think Klopp means huge to him and he will really miss Klopp.

Two motm in a row some questioned the inclusion today but he again stood up.
