Conor BRADLEY: 2025/26

Very bad news about Conor and calls into question his career prospects moving forward.

Add a RB to the shipping list. Dumfries as a bridge for a long term target?

Chris Williams put out an update a short time later:

He’s obviously being very careful about his wording, but does it not seem to suggest that Martinelli rolling him off the pitch made the injury worse?

Looks like that’s what he’s insinuating.

Looks even worse in hindsight than it did at the time. What a piece of shit.

Jeesus…

If that is true, medical mismanagement is far more likely a cause than what Martinelli did, as shithouse a thing as that was.

Are we just believing that tweet without verification? Not saying it’s false but know someone in his family and haven’t heard that. He did get engaged last week though, which is at least one nice thing in a tough year for him

I really hope it’s not true, for the record. Big fan of Conor’s and hope he’s back in action asap.

This is what Michael O’Neill said a couple of days ago so who knows really

We’re gonna have to get a starting right back anyway. Enough with a wingback and midfield fill ins

People make shit up for clicks.

Need some power law firms to sue Martinelli’s arse, and the Arse as well!

I don’t think that Arsenal can be pursued for this, but I wonder if a legal case of any kind could be opened up against Martinelli. It was intentional, malevolent and unnecessarily violent, and there are enough pictures and videos around to make it a very straightforward affair imo.

Unfortunately, the rumours were true then. I read that there was extra damage to his bone. Months could be anything, but sound better than halfway through the season. Hopefully we have him back sooner than that.

I wouldn’t say the rumour was true. The twitter rumour was that his career was over and he may never play again. The fact from Iraola is that he is months away from playing, which lines up with the timeline that was originally given and dismissed. It was always said officially that Bradley wanted to he fit shortly after the start of the season. If, for example, he’s ready by October then that’s the exact timeline we had already.

I don’t have X, so I have no idea about other rumours (career over sounds like kids inventing stuff). I read (on TIA, I think) a good few months ago that the injury could be worse for him to return in time for pre-season and that it will drag on into the following season.
