Lucky to have him.
I thought he runs abit like Henderson meaning he is gonna be great
His development this season has been incredible. Early on I had a few doubts about him and whether he could really fit into a Klopp team. There was that poor performance against Ajax (I think) where he went missing and the rest of the midfield had to carry him. Not any more. He is running the show in that midfield. One of the first names on the team sheet now. Love watching this lad play.
That pass to Mane after shaping to shoot twice was quality.
He just gets better and better. Not easy to shine in a midfield containing Henderson and Gini (also playing at the highest level).
His ceiling seems infinite.
Itâs great to see another local lad come into the side and not only look the part but start to outshine those around him. Keita and Ox will have a real battle to dislodge Curtis from the side and bar him needing a rest he deserves a start over them on merit alone.
Keep trolling Fergie, please! It will never get old.
Few childish moments in the space of basically a minute. We have a really promising counter attack with numbers, he ends it by taking too many touches and ends up in a blind alley. Then, seconds later, another weird move which led to their corner. But all part of his progress, of course that he will still have these moments here and there.
I have this weird obsession with stupid giveaways such as throw-ins and corners, in the past, especially in 2013/14, they tended to lead to opponent having good chances and scoring (hey, Kolo). Jones wasnât the only one responsible of giving away such stupid chances to WBA last night but in the end, his dallying on the ball and trying to dribble in his own defensive third led to WBA snatching a point. If these two dropped points drum more focus into him, then itâs a price Klopp would gladly pay, I think. He always says you learn more from defeats than from victories - and that felt like a defeat last night, especially compounded by two more injuries.
Yeah, too slow on the ball again. I remember one bit of play when he turned a complete circle with the ball at the corner of the 18 yard area with absolutely zero pressure on him. Heâs young and heâll get out of it but thatâs the type of showboating some posters mentioned before and he was guilty of it a few times yesterday and eventually ended up costing us a goal that ultimately ended up with us dropping 2 points.
Curtis Jones has been included on UEFAâs list of 50 young players to watch out for in 2021
Whatâs so special about this, even if itâs his left foot, I donât understand?
Looks like he is filling out a bit. Heâs a great talent, and if he can keep his discipline and learn to do the simple thing when thatâs the right option, he will become a hell of a player for us.
Probably just showing off as apparently none of our other players know how to score.
Mo is misfiring at the top of the charts.
Yeah, but that was a simple shot, without a goalkeeper and a wall⌠weaker foot and top bins okay, nothing you wouldnât expect from a professional footballer. Even a few of us here would do it.
Just funny reading LFCâs comments, ânaughtyâ, âwatch this free kickâ, etc.
Itâs an old video thatâs been edited, the original video shows the ball flying into Moreno left ear and coming through the other ear and flying into the goal.
You donât understand because heâs speaking scouse or you donât understand why this is worthy of a video? Iâm in both camps.
Thought he was very good last night, but only when he came inside and when he moved to center midfield.
I donât think heâs got the pace for being outwide for us, but he is growing into a fantastic center midfielder for me.
I donât, he takes way to much time, the kid is in love with the ball want to touch it at least 5 times before he plays. Has to get rit of that.
I donât think he was very good. Because we all have seen just how good he can be. But Iâm not blaming the kid. Overall, he had an average game.
What concerned me is the fact that only for the second time I saw him being tentative, unsure. He was so decisive even in his early games.
