Darwin NUNEZ: 2022/23

I’ve heard that he can catch a bullet in his teeth.

There was one either last season or the season before, where the goal-line technology didn’t pick up one when the ball was clearly over the line as, I think the goalies hands were in the way

From Telegraph

Erling Haaland will not be worrying about the golden boot yet, but given Liverpool’s striker is reportedly earning about £750,000 a week less, he is starting to offer bang for his buck.

He’s going to get another red card if he’s not careful…

I saw that and Van Dijk ran through the player like a freight train, as Darwin pushed him into his path after some jostling.

Anyway, the point it well made. Settle down a bit laddie! You have a big target on your back and every player in Europe and the Prem will be trying to rough you up a bit to get you to react and get sent off.

It’s a fine line though.

I want him to stand up for himself, but not to be stupid about it. Ultimately I want his response to be in goals.

No we don’t. It’s up to Jürgen and his team, as well as the senior players, to teach Darwin to channel his aggression in a more productive manner.

He’s like a mix of Suarez and Ballotelli currently. Never gonna be boring when he’s on the pitch anyway!

No. That’s Chuck Norris. Easy to get them confused though.

That was the infamous Villa one when VAR should have intervened it’s happened once and I’m pretty sure hands and legs and arms have been in the way many times.

To me nothing really is in the way but it also looks like an inch of the ball maybe on the line, it’s close but thankfully Salah made it a none issue.

The Villa one was bloody obvious and it kept them up.

I thought that the powers to be said that the goal line tech wasn’t switched on in that game?

This bloke is going to be an absolute monster.
His start might be a little slower than most expected but I’ve seen enough to believe he will unstoppable once he fully settles in.

Balotelli was boringly crap on the pitch for us

And a fuckwit who didn’t give a shit

And whatever flaws Darwin may have, he makes it very, very clear he gives a very large shit every second he is on the pitch.

His attitude on winning the ball and doing the best for the team can’t be denied he evidently wants to prove a point when he steps on that field, that chase back to defence was crazily fast on Tuesday.

His attitude and desire is amazing. His first touch has been a bit dodgy. Hoping he can calm down and improve there.

Torres seemed to adapt immediately. What a player.

Wasn’t Suarez first game or one of his first games against Utd when he created all those goals for Kuyt ? That game Suarez blew my mind hardly knew who he was. He really was a Monster.

His first touch and link up play has already improved a lot. He had a few games where they looked crap but I’m not seeing that recently.

Outstanding performance. Was a constant menace on the left side. Could have had another assist if Salah hadn’t headed directly to Loris.

Great players will rarely have off days.

He’s been instrumental in every game he’s played for us.
