Makes you wonder why he cost so much!
Scuffs two chances one goes half way up the Anfield road, the other probably bounces in half the time.
Is one of the differences at Fulham and also massively impactful against Man City.
Iām sorry but I donāt think he is particularly that ārawā, his actions are dumb and thatās raw but Iāve seen enough that makes me think he will net 15-20 if he doesnāt repeat that he did yesterday.
Itās a shame he misses next week as their defence would have had issues especially if they played Martinez.
Potential. I still believe heās a rough diamond. Writing him off after 2 games is beyond ridiculous
I donāt think anyone is writing him offā¦we all want him to shine ā¦I think weāre looking at his well beingā¦
Should we look towards our management and our player leaders too?
Shouldnāt they have prepād him for this during his āorientationā?
Kind of like how naive we were in the first Jurgen years: not using the subs when needing to waste time, not having a reaction to opponentsā shithousery ā¦and we are still getting on with the game and not circling the ref to force VAR.
If heās somewhat ārawā we should have prepād him better for this
You said you wouldnāt be surprised if he goes as soon as possible. If thatās not writing him offā¦
No not writing him offā¦as Iāve said I want him to stayā¦but with the defenders shit last night and others will know now how to wind him upā¦it might change his mindset on the PLā¦I hope notā¦but we will seeā¦
I do think if Jota and Firmino had been fit that they would have started.
I think the idea was to bring him in slowly. His whole plans seemed to be thrown all over the place due to the injuries.
Probably something else to take into account about last night fingers crossed this week is settled and we can plan more fully. Though I donāt think anyone bar Firmino will be back (though Jota and Kellner might be back in outdoor training).
Missed that one.
Very lucky, that connects itās probably 5.
Its a slap, petulant slap that Anderson would have made a meal of.
Headbutting someone is way more dangerous
I agree. I saw a different performance than many seemingly did. I commented pretty early on in the game, definitely before their goal, that heās got an untidy air to him but is still pretty productive. He was getting involved, linking well and fighting for the ball. The result was he earned himself (its trite BS to claim we created them for him as if he played no part in that) 3 really good chances that he just fluffed. Someone might look at that and say it means heās a bad finisher and only scored in portugal because of their lower quality of defending, but one of the oddities is his xGs last season were higher than normal. There are a number of ways that might be interpreted, but itās very difficult to take from it that heās a bad finisher who only scores goals because of the sheer number of chances he got.
Perhaps.
Shrthnd version
Shthd versionā¦
It should have read pārapsā¦is that what you are trying to tell me ?
Or he just had a bad game
Heās forcing it and is a little too eager. Heās had loads of chances and most times the miss is a horrible miscue rather than a poor finish. Well itās still a poor finish but I think you guys get what Iām trying to say. He just needs to calm down in goal scoring situations, let it come naturally and the snatching will ease itself out. As for the aggression, channel that successfully and he will be a beast.
For now he needs to sort it out between his ears.
Nunez needs to understand that we are not counting on him to produce the goods regularly in his first season. Not even Klopp or the Kop.
All he needs to do is to keep his head, get into goal-scoring positions and distract the CBs from Salah.
Hopefully, by the time he comes back which is the merseyside derby, I hope he can keep his cool!
That being said, Klopp needs to lay the law into him firmly and fine him a weekās salary for letting the whole team down!
That would mean fining a few other players as well.
