Hallelujah
Not being a listener this post is how I found out that Talksport employ A. Crook and yet he’s not even the one on there most guilty of stealing a living …
What’s funny is that Indy has been spot on with respect to a few transfer reports. Some of it the account’s “reporting” has clearly been what I would describe as reasonable speculation based on the tea leaves. But then he nails the Grealish and Baleba rumors seemingly from nowhere.
I will say this - they have gotten things wrong, too, so there’s only so much stock you can put in that account.
Yeah, they would be absolute idiots to accept our silly evaluation of 70 mil EUR.
He is not at all worth that, everyone knows it. We have sold most of our players with high earnings from the sales. Sometimes, you must accept a loss and we need to get rid of Nunez.
I am surprised they are willing to pay this sum, but I guess Saudis can do that.
This is an excellent sale and an exellent price for us.
What will happen to his song, er, chant, er, shout?
I’m happy for Darwin. I think his attitude and energy dipped towards the end of his tenure here - he sometimes looked like he was just going through the motions out there. It was clearly time for a move. He still has the tools to resuscitate his career, and perhaps some time away from the spotlight will help.
I’m glad that it’s abroad so we won’t have to deal with him if he finds his form again.

Memories
I wish him all the best, unfortunately it just didn’t work out here.
Edit
Disappointed it never worked out for him here… More disappointed in myself for believing this guy was special after watching his first few games… Still believe he is a special footballer, but cant help feeling he never settled in the Merseyside surroundings outside of football…
Wish him all the best and will watch his antics with interest from now on..
Him going rogue in a celebration and booting an ad board is a particular favourite highlight

…as in Moulin..? :0)
What a fucking legend.
Lived his dream in a Liverpool shirt.
Can’t ask for more than that.
That brace when we were down to 10 at St James Park.
Boom.
That was the peak of the Nunez experience for me.
The most amazing finishes that Isak would struggle to score, then followed up in the next few games with countless offside and sitters missed. The Liverpool player with the most extreme high/lows I can remember. The Ozzy Osbourne of strikers.
was in a bar in Lanzarote for that. Full of LFC fans and 1 Geordie smirking at HT.
Couldn’t have gone more wrong. VVD off, TAA shouldve been sent off, Ali wonder save and were just awful but held on at 1-0…Then cometh the hour cometh the Nunez, not once…but twice…That bar went off it was bedlam as we were all jumping around. Poor Geordie just sat there in disbelief.
Also re the Forest game. Remember jumping round living room after the winner. Then going out, coming back after a few beers and me and the family all dancing round living room singing - Nunez on fire, your defence is terrified.
Thanks Darwin
Sad to see him go. Wondered if the Jota tragedy might be one of those perverse moments where everything ends up on it’s head and he’d bang in 30 goals next season but it’s not to be.
It’s mad how many of that squad we saw celebrating at the end of the season wont be around anymore with possibly 2 or 3 more to go.
One positive for me is it’s another South American gone, they are generally write-offs after an international break. Just Mac and Allison to worry about now.
Love those stories!
I’ve been on the other side of the coin.
I was in a bar in Frankfurt watching that 2015 Utd game when Stevie got sent off 30secs into the second half.
There was about 3 of us and 100s of the cunts.
What a shite afternoon that was.
Indykaila is the literal definition of throwing random shit on the wall and hope it sticks.
Well two years or so for Nunez to fill up his coffers in Saudi. If he rediscovers his form , he can always transfer back to Europe. Even if not back to the EPL.
LFC (brought to you by PIF) marches on.
