Winning this election may well be a poison chalice. The economy is going to be in tatters for years and all the other long term issues aren’t going away either. It’s noticeable that the last few Democratic presidents have inherited ailing economies and this will be even worse. Biden is unlikely to even live long enough to see a recovery.

I think Nate was very aware in 2016 of Trumps chances. I also think this time round there are fewer people that the pollsters don’t know about that Trump could pull into supporting him and make a difference.
