President Trump in his motorcade drove by hundreds of his supporters who showed up in Washington, D.C., on Saturday for demonstrations protesting the outcome of the 2020 election. Mr. Trump has refused to concede the election even as his loss in the Electoral College grew on Friday and his legal maneuverings in several states to overturn the results failed to advance.

The president drove by in the motorcade on his way to his private golf club in Sterling, Va., and was greeted, according to a pool report, by applause and cheers. People who watched him go by carried signs reading “Best prez ever” and “Stop the steal.”

My emphasis.

How many new cases yesterday?? Srsly, arse cancer is too good for this cunt.

Pfizer have not even filed their application for approval and are not expected to for another month.

Deaths lag several weeks behind infections, so the toll being recorded now reflects transmission that happened several weeks ago, before the country began logging more than 140,000 new cases per day and hospitalizations reached their highest levels of the pandemic. On Friday, public health officials reported more than 181,000 new cases across the country, more than ever before.

And yet rather than even feign interest on his way to play golf he directs his motorcade to drive past his braying sycophants for the pathetic boner it likely gave him.

I’m going to be working for you, I’m not going to have time to go play golf.

Christ Almighty…the world needs to be rid of this prick asap.

Can he give us the recipe? We don’t want to wait either.

Seems those prediction markets are maybe entertaining the low probability chance of some sort of legal coup? Seems 8.8 percent is much too high a percentage for that though !

The biggest surprise in the polls is that Trump did relatively well among black and Hispanic voters. I say “relatively” because winning 18% of the votes of black males may be higher than is normal for a Republican candidate, but it’s not exactly changing the game. Yet for people who had not been paying close attention to the polls, this result came as a surprise.

Part of the explanation is that ordinary black and Hispanic voters are not as interested in identity politics as the leadership of the Democratic party. Ruy Teixeira, who co-wrote the book arguing that Democrats could rely on the minority vote to become a majority party, explains why it’s not working:

I don’t think there’s any doubt that wokeness, and the issues around that, helped brand the Democratic party. The Democrats spent three months with a discourse dominated by the protests around George Floyd, racial justice, and so on, culminating in the defund-and-abolish-the-police movement, which was basically of very little interest to the median voter. To the extent that the Democrats are identified with that rhetoric—from language-policing to terming the US a white-supremacist society—the less able the party is to appeal to working-class voters of all races and moderate voters in general….

[Democrats] need to put a lid on the culture-war stuff, and emphasize issues that are of broad concern to working- and middle-class people of all races.

Hypothetical horror scenario - what happens if Biden dies before January 20th? It’s not a total impossibility and could lead to a major crisis. Trump would surely seize the opportunity to make a power grab.

I’m pretty sure it goes to the VP.

That was exactly the kind of stuff that Sanders used to say in 2016 and got heavily attacked and smeared for. Out of touch old white man, maybe slightly racist.

Now that AOC is seen as the biggest threat from the left, the reverse argument is made against her.

I am pretty sure he will never concede, and that an entire industry will be built to promote the idea that Imperator Donaldus had won fairly and squarely, but that the evil tentacles of the ultra sinister pro-pedophilia Deep State, controlled by various liberal oligarchs, managed to rob him of his well earned victory.

In real basic terms

If you run a country for four years, the biggest military machine in the world, CIA, FBI, a heavy militarised police force, and control a media Chanel, IF you have ALL that at your fingertips, and ‘THEY’ still manage to rig an election against you, are you just a little bit shit and probably aren’t fit for the job in the first place?

Just sayin…

MAGA world, including the intellectual excuse for it, is using the “release the Kraken” terminology now. They are supposedly releasing the kraken now, a term first used in MAGA world by Sebastian Gorka.

Q is in overdrive in various MAGA channels, and they are very loud and seem to have a lot of pull with these cultists, bizarrely. Privately, I am pretty sure General Flynn is involved in the Q operation in some way or form. They are parroting a lot of stuff he has previously said and is saying now, and he has the background for this sort of stuff. It is bat shit insane that I am even mentioning Q on a US presidential election thread, but here we are.
