Officer?
Fight?
Really?

I’m slightly confused (again)

Before the riots Trump singles out Pence as some kind of scape goat.

After the riots, Pence Dithers and delays invoking the 25th Amendment.

Correct me if I’m wrong but if most normal people were Pence you’d be front of the queue right? Or is there something else in play here? I understand Pence is a bit of a sly ole dog etc.

Don’t you think he looks a bit police/militaristic in his dress(I know a few others do as well) and some of that crowd don’t look like they have high levels of intelligence.
Apart from the ones at the end helping the guy.

why dont you take an objective look at it one more time?

Why don’t you?

He’s a photographer for the AP, not a police officer.

Oh so experienced in editing, thanks

I did, now your turn, go on, its not what you think that you see.

Ok wise guy what do I think I see?

I cant read minds yet, or at least over the internet; if you were in the room here with me somehow. Why are you so offensive some times? Why, it is just discussion.

Ok, none of us were there and we don’t know what happened, but what we can see is one guy, a photographer, being aggressively pushed around by a crowd. I can think of two possible scenarios, 1, he was going about his business when he was attacked by the crowd, or 2, he provoked the crowd into attacking him by some aggressive action of his own.
Which seems more likely? or is there a third possibility?

Thank fuck we have a match on tonight.
I hope Adrian isn’t in goals as people seem a bit tetchy today.

The most interesting part for me is the first few seconds; the recording we are shown starts in his face. That belies an editing decision. Then its not quite clear, but he seems to launch himself into the crowd, or is pulled by an arm coming in from his left, our right. Its not clear. Then he does get assaulted. But this should be hackneyed, this is an old security services play.

I dunno. An FA cup tie against Villa’s under 16s just doesn’t distract me from the chaos in the most powerful nation on earth somehow. I wish it did.

But two weeks or less and some kind of normality will resume at least in US politics.

And are you sure you are a “True” Red :grinning:

Every game excites me and I can post the pictures to prove it(they may get removed though)

You can clearly see that he is grabbed by the shoulder strap of his rucksac by the man with blue scarf over his face (and grey jacket). This man pulls the photographer down the steps and a number of others join in shouting ‘get out of here’. You also hear someone (the photographer) replying ‘ok’.
Why do you think the video is cut? (It could be just the start of the video that is seen often).
The most likely explaination in my view is that the photographer was taking photos and some took objection to that when they realised he was a journalist not a ‘protester’. Not an uncommon occurance at protests that are turning violent.

The guy who tasered his own balls and died of a heart attack has to be a leading contender for the Darwin Awards this year, right?
