I posted it yesterday, the full version. It is shot by Donald Trump Jr. His version is cut to show only Donald Trump Jr’s wife and Trump, and doesn’t show Donald Trump. Jr. ranting about what a fantastic day it is and so on.

I dont see it as clear that he was pulled, and if he is he seems to have good balance as he enters the crowd. A pulling at him would at least imbalance him, but there does seem to be an arm at his rucksack. Then the guy that ‘pulls’ him then seems to back away out of the melee. I do have suspicion from how the scene commences, with filming conveniently directed in the face of the man to be ‘assailed’; but he does not look like a protester at all. There is certainly something else going on before which we are not meant to see. Im open about it but also open to how these pieces can be staged. I would like to see the preceding 10 seconds. I think all video is cut, of course it is, bias occurs as soon as the record button drops and the camera angle is pointed.
I have been in a riot resulting from a protest, and then, it was the security services that started the violence, by repeated provocation. I understand this is still usually the case.
I think there is something fishy about the whole day, and no I do not support Trump nor am I excusing his actions. But I think those actions have been exacerbated for political capital. Im just trying to approach an interpretation that is free of the hysteria.

Yes, he’s dressed in such a way that he looks like the Capitol Hill Police (or some other form of law enforcement). For some idiots that’s enough to harass and jostle him.
No idea if there was any other provocation either way as we join the video too late to see its origins but it seems that as soon as some take a moment to realise he’s press and not law enforcement, the situation calms down.
It might have been alarming for him for 10-15 seconds but he’s only jostled and pulled, it’s handbags. No wonder you guys play your soft version of rugby with helmets and pads on if that’s being equated to lynching!

An event like we saw has got to be used to split the base Trump has (at a guess more than 20% of the population) because what is happening is dangerous. To split that base there is opportunity in shaming those that believe in the constitution and law and order. If you give them any defense at all they will just use it to continue down the road they have taken.
I have seen your posts over this whole issue and you have repeatedly watered down what ‘THIS’ is (whether you 'support Trump or not on that I could not care). For mr this isn’t about what happened it’s about what it could bring, it’s not about justice it is politics. The politics of the far right or the right. So this has to and should be used politically (that’s how it started and even though I don’t believe it will end it has to be curbed somehow, the USA has handled Trump badly from the start and is now left with no option than play hard now or have something really nasty happen).
Asf or the video just look at the ITV video (posted by Livvy) where a journalist was treated in a similar fashion. It really is a common occurance at demos and has nothing to do with who starts the violence as police attack journalists as well (unprovoked aside from the 'reporting is deemed provoking).
