Anyway, I read this article earlier. I think it is an important one, because it is written by a social conservative Christian writer (with mostly stupid opinions imo, though he is a principled man and this is good stuff), and he points to something very important. Had the majority of the crowd called themselves muslim, this would have been called an “Islamist attack” or something similar and people would have demanded that the Muslim community take responsibility. It is good that he recognices this and much more.

I am not sure. He is known to be in the Q-crowd, kind of infamous as the “other crazy general”. I am leaning towards him believing it, maybe mental illness. I don’t know. I really don’t know.

There’s no harm in trying to maintain a balance. US’s definition of left and right aren’t necessarily the definitions the world over.
For example, The “squad” just voted for 600 USD stimulus cheques, And have shied away from even introducing a bill on single payer medicare. Politicians like AOC are no different when it comes to using their electorates as someone on the extreme right.
Aren’t Capitol police armed? I know it’s been said a thousand times already, but if those rioters in that video had been anything other than white rednecks the police would have shot them dead.
Earlier today on CNN I heard reports that some police opened the doors to usher the rioters out of the Capitol when it was all over. A lot of questions need to be asked about the kind of people who are thought to be suitable to wear a police uniform in the U.S.

Quite possibly but my point is that you need to set a direction now. Lay the foundations if you like.
4 years will fly by and if you’re not careful you still end up with 70m disgruntled voters. You need to bring some of them back or at least give them hope that you will.
