During WW2, the US applied a rule that any engagement could only result in a single CMH award per ‘campaign’ per division. He was recommended for one, but it was allocated to another officer for the Normandy landings.

Just noticed from the story about the Vogue cover that Harris is being styled as “Madam Vice President”. Is that how she’ll formally be addressed? Why not just “Vice President”? If the US elected a female President would she be addressed as “Madam President”? If so, I again ask why not simply “President”?
I might be wrong, but don’t they normally get addressed as Mr President or Mr Vice President?
If that is the case, then using the term Madam or Mrs would be acceptable, although Madam has a more natural speach flow in my opinion.

Jumping out of this Trump anti-cyclone, Im more excited about Kamala Harris than anything else in US politics right now . She could so some real good. Just what is wrong with this planet tho, the lady makes it onto the front page of Vogue and the spin-off headline is negative.
