isn’t that a good thing? Everyone now knows who ar the ones that supported his garbage or are willing to tow a party line no matter what.
What do they call them over there? Yellow bellies?
For me it shows they are only thinking about themselves. Deselection or maintaining the facade for future election.
There is no interest in moving on, resetting the republican party to its core values. Its more playing to the illusion, that half of republicans feel they were cheated out of the election.
I agree. Well at least they’ve exposed themselves now though haven’t they?
Not sure what you could actually do about that but at least you know who they are.
Across the board. Two party system, the far right won’t go their own way for fear of a loss of influence and $$$,same why the old style GOP can’t cut them loose.Few of the dems lean right but the likes of AOC and the progressives/socialist won’t go their own way fearing gettting cut out by the old style democrats.Getting the dollars out of elections would be a start, stop the continuous campaign for the next election. The whole thing needs a reboot but old blood runs deep, $$ must be paid back.
On the far right there is a split now between QAnon, the Proud Boys and InfoWarriors. All of them are blaming each other for the failure of the insurrection and trying to back away from the incident altogether (Alex Jones, who was right on the frontline and broadcasting live cheering that “Patriots have taken the White House” is now saying he was holding people back and stopping them from attacking Police but QAnon supporters and Antifa worked together to cause the riot). Their different versions of reality are splintering and I think in time they will become untenable to remain united.
NEW YORK - Joe Biden has cast himself as a unifier for the nation, but there is someone else the incoming administration hopes can help start healing a divided United States next week:
How many times has Trump been impeached Pep?
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) is calling on House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney (Wyo.) to be removed from leadership for announcing her plans to vote to impeach President Trump for inciting last week's riot at the Capitol.
“She’s not representing Republican ideals.”
It was unclear why they were removed, according to Pressley's chief of staff.
"We four schemed up of putting maximum pressure on Congress while they were voting," Ali Alexander said in a since-deleted video on Periscope.
On Wednesday, The Washington Post reported that outgoing President Donald Trump is reluctant to pay his longtime friend and attorney Rudy Giuliani for his legal services in the election lawsuits — and has instructed staff not to approve the...
Howling! They all deserve each other.
They all deserve to be shot into the sun.
FTFY…
Why now???
A little bit of prudence just few weeks before would have done nicely.
Greedy, cowardly, irresponsible, reckless cunts you lot. You have no idea what damage you have done.
Trump has a history of not paying his people…I’m a bit surprised that he has let Giuliani hang though, I wonder if he blames him for the failure to get the election overturned or something.
I just saw this which is part of an article on the BBC at the moment
"Mindful that his first days in office could become mired in the impeachment drama, Mr Biden said he hoped senators would not neglect the “other urgent business of this nation”, such as approving his cabinet nominees, coronavirus relief and the nationwide vaccination programme.
However, a Republican congresswoman, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, announced she would file articles of impeachment against Mr Biden, accusing him of abuse of power, the day after his inauguration."
