For me it shows they are only thinking about themselves. Deselection or maintaining the facade for future election.
There is no interest in moving on, resetting the republican party to its core values. Its more playing to the illusion, that half of republicans feel they were cheated out of the election.

On the far right there is a split now between QAnon, the Proud Boys and InfoWarriors. All of them are blaming each other for the failure of the insurrection and trying to back away from the incident altogether (Alex Jones, who was right on the frontline and broadcasting live cheering that “Patriots have taken the White House” is now saying he was holding people back and stopping them from attacking Police but QAnon supporters and Antifa worked together to cause the riot). Their different versions of reality are splintering and I think in time they will become untenable to remain united.

Trump has a history of not paying his people…I’m a bit surprised that he has let Giuliani hang though, I wonder if he blames him for the failure to get the election overturned or something.
