Diogo JOTA: 2020/21

If I remember correctly didn’t Klopp put his leg in a vice and apply a massive amount of shearing force to his knee?

Mid February…What!!!

He is back playing?
He is back training?

I don’t think we would know when he would be back playing until 1-2 weeks before he returns to the squad,

We’ve Jota be patient and not rush him back.

I’m getting pretty fucked off about the silence surrounding Jota.

Maybe the journalists should ask the question.

They ask some absolutely dull stuff at times.

Any pressure on the knee is good for us, if he can do that it’s really just the match readiness he needs to get into.

Kind of expected this when we let Minamino go out on loan.

At our pub, we have come up with a nickname for Jota: D.O.G.

One of the barmaids was trying to figure out how to pronounce his name, and went through the spelling progression a bit clumsily: “D…O…G…”

It caught on, so much so that one fellow has sported a new shirt with “D.O.G.” and Jota’s number on the back. Thinking of doing this myself!

We do love this player!
