Jota also announced yesterday that his partner is expecting child. He’s having some week.

Think the window ain’t finished just yet even if we get Jota across the line.

Wolves much better team than Sarr’s, so stats can be slightly misleading.

one plus for me vs Sarr is that i think he’d cover/rotate with Bobby (as well as our wide forwards) much more effectively too? would/will really help to have some proper options up top.

Weeny Werner Who?

Isn’t there anyone standing by the Melwood gates who can verify this? :astonished:

Lots peering over the wall.

those comps don’t show you the misses, obviously, but he’s so comfortable finishing with either foot

doesn’t have to contort his body or struggle to get his steps right so much in those tight spots & fleeting chances

and if it can be hit first time, he’s always gonna take it

He’s a worker, too.

Great get if it happens.

Melissa Reddy has tweeted its done no idea how to add them. Shows same blacked out people carrier entering Melwood.

I think Jiminez is still the pick of the bunch out of wolves attackers, but different players. Shows how good wolves are.

Lefty that plays on the left. I wonder if Klopp will switch him to the right, keep Mane on left, when we go 4-2-3-1 (salah cf)

And we are a much better side than Wolves so his stats translate to Mane levels? Gotcha good spot there buddy.

You mean that Jota and Thiago were in the same vehicle? :astonished:

Typical FSG cheapskates - can’t even provide each player with their own blacked out people carrier.

I’d see him playing more in a central position for us actually.

If the deal is £35M, IMO it’s pound for pound better value than what Watford wants for Sarr. I like Sarr’s ceiling better than Jota, but im guessing Watford wanted more than £40M, if they were willing to negotiate at all, and Edwards likely wasn’t interested in being #Pozzo’d.

LFC had their set limit, and they moved on. Incredible piece of business!

Surprised and thrilled at this one.
I was happy with the talk about Sarr, but to me Sarr is one of those fun players that could have massive improvement - and his speed just can’t be coached. But he could just as easily remain a speedster first and a player second. At the prices mentioned, I was worried it would be a bad deal.

Now Jota on the other hand, I’ve no qualms with a 35M(ish) fee. He’s a great player that could work centrally or out wide depending on the need. Could be a starter or a sub. Happy if this one happens and love that it came out of the blue.

He’s right footed by the looks of it.
