I noticed that Dom placed the ball at the edge of the spot towards the goal. If only he placed it in the middle, that few centimetres might have been the difference. Then again, I am grasping at straws.

So he says he didnât want to pass it back to Giorgi, but to feint and continue running with the ball. Still stupid regardless, to do it in that situation.
Itâs a skill not seen very often. Kewell used to do that one sometimes, feint a backheel pass, but then just accelerate forward with the ball.

I donât know how reliable Hungarian blikk.hu is, but a few days ago they reported that Szoboâs wage demands for a new contract are ÂŁ300k per week.
Heâs currently on ÂŁ120k.
Of course, contracts are also structured (can be more or less), weâre talking about a certain base here.
Heâs basically been the heartbeat of the team this season, so itâs not that unreasonable.

Disagree that 300k is reasonable for him. Heâs a good player but thatâs too much - he doesnât score enough nor have his position locked down enough for that.

Now even someone like Curtis Jones is demanding 200k per week even when he does not deserve anything above 120k per week.

Great goal though bad wall and shit decision to foul Haaland (also a pretty poor defensive transition that led to it). Wouldâve rather lost 1-3 than lose Szobo for the next game. There was no time for anything. Do try and make it as difficult as possible for the opponent, but that was stupid.
