Dominik Szoboszlai (AM) RB Leipzig

Don’t think he will stay there too long.

Why?

No I was showing what it was doing, replied to Dutch’s post with a tongue in cheek comment and bizarrely showed up as having quoted something I didn’t even see from Nikola, wondered if anyone else experienced this today as was the 2nd time for me.

Apparently Joyce has updated his Times article (I can’t check due to paywall) to say we’re trying to trigger his release clause TODAY

What I meant he dazzles in that usually a good sign though this was the one I wanted. I just wasn’t sure how someone like him would fit but there are areas he could. He also looks good in red for Hungary.

Was thinking the role Elliott tried but struggled in sounds possible area if Klopp goes back to that.

Also he is rather good looking

As I said once Joyce says it’s actively trying to be done it’s usually likely.

Joyce doesn’t get involved in the rumours, he only confirms what he knows to be true. If he says we are in for Szoboszlai then its because we are.

Joyce:

The clause which allows Szoboszlai to leave for a set price in the region of £60 million expires today, and Liverpool have decided to move, aware that the player wants to play for Klopp. Talks took place with Szoboszlai’s camp this week.

One of the key issues will be the terms over which the release clause is paid. Liverpool, like many sides, typically prefer to spread payments over a number of years. Liverpool triggered a £36 million release clause to sign Ibrahima Konaté from Red Bull Leipzig in the summer of 2021, having first renegotiated the terms.

Yep - and within a week he’ll be old news and everyone will retort back to being a cry baby wanting new toys.

Would be lovely to see some real energy back in midfield, fingers crossed

Death, taxes and Liverpool fans waiting exactly two and half minutes after signing a new player to complaining that the owners lack ambition and won’t sign anyone.

I’ve just followed him on Instagram - as good as a lean as far as I’m concerned.

God knows what state you’re going to be in the first time Dom and Darwin pose for a photo together after a match, with their shirts off.
