Just got back from Tassy with the family. I’ve been many times in the past but had to share the joy with wife and kids. Maria Island, Mona, Port Arthur etc are brilliant. Gets a bit Bruce Doull but that’s OK.

Great to see you back here posting again! You remain the only lucky fellow who has seen me in person from this forum. (Other than the other 2 Singaporeans I know from this forum)

I’m up in Bundoora mate. You planning on going to watch the CL final at a live venue?

I remember that! I think we played Crystal Palace if I’m not mistaken.

Good times.

Yeah man we won 2-1,late goal by Firmino. Good times, the Imperial was sadly almost empty that late night/early morning though haha. Not sure when I ever will get back to Melb now that I am being laid off, hopefully soon! Take care!

Oh actually I have been laid off since late 2020, so its been more than 1.5 years. I have been blessed that while its not a good feeling to see savings depleting without knowing when your next payday or job will come about, I cannot say that I am struggling in comparison to many people around the world. Just have to keep plugging until I see daylight on that front.

Scott ‘the bulldozer’ has just dipped into his bald bogan Boris barrel to pull out this:

This cunt is supposed to be prime minister but instead he’s trying to play football for the cameras against 8 year olds while dressed in a suit. This is the shite you get when you, like several morons on this thread (thats @redbj and you @DeathOrGlory for starters), claim the LNP are ‘the same’ as the other alternatives. Time to grow up guys - and no that doesn’t mean voting for united australia or pauline hanson.

cheers mate, thanks for the abuse.

It’s weird. I always hated the Liberal party growing up. Certainly never even thought to give them a vote in my life. But since moving overseas (and un-enrolling) I don’t really feel the same hate as I used to. I guess it’s because the Tories are a whole new level.

I also find the way the opposition parties in Aus fight a smear campaign at every turn - both the Libs and ALP are guilty of this equally - is a little off-putting. Certainly the British Labour Party show much more integrity than their Aussie counterparts.

I don’t know if the absence from Australia has caused this but I personally couldn’t get into a slinging match between Libs and ALP. Most of the time it feels like ‘choose you poison’.

Election will be like USA. Vote out the incumbent rather than vote in the alternative. So Albo in a landslide.

Struggle to vote for a guy who supports Souffs though.

Ahhh, I never said anything of the sort mate, in fact I think alll politicians are absolute cunts.

I feel like me and redbj have missed some sort of joke here though :upside_down_face:

Just realised I was late to the party with the whole Morrison smashing into a kid whilst having a kick about.

Here’s something else though. Didn’t know whether to post here or in the Climate Change thread.

Ahh my brother in law coaches the U13s team for the strikers. Plus 4 nephews playing at various ages but much older than these little lads and lasses…

South Australians mate…

They’re all cunts, especially Mrs SBYM.

As I’ve always argued, the best way to improve Aus is the nuke everything south of the Tweed River
