Gutfield has a late night show on fox that is supposed to be their version of this. It’s as awful and tired as you’d imagine, but it is very successful for them and is the most watched show in late night. It’s just gets overlooked in these conversations because its cable not network. He has found the key to the format that eschews guests because there are only about 12 of them he’d have reuse.
The problem is the existence and success of Gutfield doesnt satisfy a large number of conservatives because they are not motivated by getting the things they want. What they really want is to ruin the things people who think differently to them have. That is why despite being incredibly well served for news and entertainment content that is tailored to exactly what they want it isnt enough for them. And it wont be until the shows libs enjoy are gone and replaced by a conservative version of it. They dont need to actually watch that version of the show…they just need it to exist in replacement of the thing they dont like

Let’s face it: if the price for Gazans finally receiving food and medics without missiles permanently falling on their heads, is Trump receiving that price, then so be it. I’ll have a (somewhat bitter) laugh at the Nobel peace price committee for further discrediting it, but I can live with that.

Trump, and Biden before him, had the influence and power to make this happen much sooner, but both stood by and allowed Israel to do what it has. He should never be close to winning the prize, this year or next.

Think about the fact that the primary issue that landed this moron the presidency the first time was concern over correct communication security practices of his opponent, something that spiraled over concern of breaking the firewall between the president’s office (in this case the presidential candidate’s husband) and the supposedly independent AG. And he then got back in for a second term over concerns about the mental acuity of the incumbent
Now here he is demanding in direct communication that the AG go after his enemies, sending the communication via a fucking social media site, and being so mentally cooked that he mistakenly send a DM as a public post.
And no one will care.

I keep having to tell professors on Twitter (for fuck’s sake!) that the nomination ended January 31st. The lack of knowledge that journalists have is even less. It is absolutely infuriating !
Trump may, if the “peace” holds, get prize for it in 2026, not in 2025 !

There’s speculation also that he’s been using Truth Social as a way of circumventing the public records legislation concerning the President. This fuck-up would suggest that is likely the case.

I wonder if these people betting on Trump knows the composition of the group of Norwegians deciding it. Strong doubt.
If it was up to the Norwegian government and self interest of the Norwegian state, sure, he would get it. But it’s not and we are bracing for retaliation. Because he will be mad as hell.

If he gets it now due to special nomination (which is possible) it will likely be for the actual positive role the US played in resolving the Azeri-Armenian conflict.
But this is highly unlikely.
