One interesting and telling element of this race is that every other candidate is far more focused on Israel-Palestine than he is yet it is him who is being accused of practicing identity politics over the issue. What we’re seeing is he has little interest in talking about anything other than affordability yet other people are ascribing to him the worst assumptions of what brown muslims think about the issue and are making him answer for those over and over and over again, and then as soon as he does its “god, these muslims have such a bee in their bonnet about Israel.” They criticize him for identity politics despite its them demanding he answer a very specific set of questions that they feel are appropriate to ask simply because because he’s muslim
So to the degree he has no clear position on Ukraine, its because no one is demanding he answer questions about it the way they do over Israel.

Just so impressed by these clowns. There are two reasons why he is not persona non grata now. First, the US would be compelled to retaliate, and Canada’s ambassador in DC has been quietly effective. Second, he effectively is already.

No surprise regarding the tirade. Trump sends these chauvinistic clowns around to be ambassadour to allied and friendly states. And they almost all, do an absolutely terrible job at building good relations. In Norway now, I suppose we are relatively lucky with the one they have sent there.
