Drill Baby Drill...the US Politics Thread (Part 3)

Not surprising from Noem, who led a state with one of the highest concentrations of Native American peoples, and is banned from the tribal lands by 8 out of the 9 tribes located in SD.

…was banned from all 9, but one has since relented. She states in her book that her grandmother told her that they have Native American blood, but that is not documented, and her parents lineage is supposedly Norwegian.

She is just another lying, gaslighting, grifter from the Republican Party that will do or say anything, regardless of veracity, to maintain power, and to keep the cash rolling in. Absolutely vile waste of human flesh, along with many of her cohorts.

I was just talking to a nurse friend who is convinced Trump is being treated for early stage dementia

https://investors.biogen.com/news-releases/news-release-details/fda-approves-leqembir-lecanemab-irmb-iv-maintenance-dosing?utm_source=chatgpt.com
What is it?

Leqembi is a monoclonal-antibody therapy approved for the treatment of early Alzheimer’s disease (specifically, adults with mild cognitive impairment [MCI] or mild dementia due to Alzheimer’s

How is it administered?

Initial / standard regimen: Leqembi is given as an intravenous (IV) infusion. The recommended initial dose is 10 mg/kg, diluted and administered over ~1 hour once every 2 weeks

I guess that would explain the frequent hand bruising. You wouldnt ordinarily use the hand for the infusion but you would periodically if the more typical veins were not cooperating on any given day

What are the side effects and how are they managed?

  • The most important safety risk with Leqembi is ARIA, which may manifest as ARIA-E (edema/brain swelling or fluid build-up) or ARIA-H (microhemorrhages or superficial bleeding on/near the brain surface). Drugs.com+2U.S. Food and Drug Administration+2* Symptoms (when symptomatic) can include: headache; confusion, dizziness; vision changes; nausea; difficulty walking; seizures; weakness; changes in speech (aphasia).

Many ARIA cases are asymptomatic and only detectable on imaging, which is why MRI monitoring is mandatory. The FDA currently recommends MRI scans at baseline and then at intervals (before certain infusions) to screen for ARIA.

Its incredible to me that this default deflection from Trump is actually a disqualifying response, and yet he’s allowed to get away with it time after time.

WTF do you mean you know nothing about a war crimes story that has been in near constant state of public discussion for 2 months?

It’s a default position for the GOP

I made a comment on twitter to disagree with something an immigration expert said about the H1B visa and the ways in which workers are exploited. That comment has now been found by the Groypers and is being hailed, which is a deeply weird position to be put in.

Totally normal behavior of an innocent man

https://www.politico.com/news/2025/12/02/trump-jack-smith-classified-docs-report-00673178

President Donald Trump argued Tuesday that former special counsel Jack Smith’s final report — chronicling the criminal case against him for hoarding classified documents at Mar-a-Lago — should never be made public.
Trump urged U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon in a new court filing to extend her 11-month-old order blocking the Justice Department from releasing the full report, which Smith submitted shortly before Trump’s second inauguration.

Lol

Ru have the best foundation possible though. Just a bit more goal post moving from the Americans necessary now

Classic Dementia,nuff said!

" Leqembi is not a cure for Alzheimer’s and does not reverse the disease. All patients still experience a decline, but at a slower rate than those receiving a placebo. Meaningful delay: The 27% slowing is considered clinically meaningful, potentially delaying the progression to more advanced stages of the disease by about 5.3 months."*

So by late next year we may really see SHTF

Donald Trump’s dad had dementia. Trump’s niece, Mary, claims Donald Trump mocked him for it. If that’s true, this is karma.

Trump has been showing various signs of dementia. The Meidas Touch podcast and others have been talking about it for a while.

Various psychologist’s have been talking about his cognitive decline and even collapse.

I think he is in quite a bad way personally, and I am hoping he faces justice before he dies.

Is he now? The last ramble that went everywhere except Santa’s workshop, must endorse at least this summation.

Whatever happened to decorum, decency, maturity?

When did these virtues become obsolete?

When did people stop caring?

I can’t believe that the American media isn’t making more of the hypocritical pardoning of the former president of Honduras. He got a 45 year sentence for drug trafficking and Trump is about to go and attack Venezuelan territory over the same issue.
I don’t suppose that presidential pardons can be unpardoned?

The corruption is just endless. To a degree the press have a genuinely difficult job trying to cover it, but one thing they have always done poorly is express the significance of an issue in their coverage. Back in the day they used page location and word count as a way to express that without ever breaking from fairly neutral language, but that doesnt cut it anymore (did it ever?). In a fractured media environment you need every story to stand on its own and that requires a rethinking of what a straight news story needs to do and the press just havent adapted. I think they need to get comfortable with adapting the language used to convey the magnitude of stories like this, but they also need to find a format that conveys the broader issue of the rampant corruption this is just one part of.

And so I guess my point is all the main stream press has covered it, but they have just failed to convey the real meaning of it

But this is also why they did the fuckery with the white house correspondent pool. Historically they have been bad at getting answers to important questions, but the type of questions they feel compelled to ask and the tenor of the exchange can itself become news when an admin is dealing with something. By Trump filling that group with partisan cosplayers he has found a release valve for the political pressure they might otherwise be feeling

Charter Schools are one of the biggest scams in politics

They are quasi private, so get state funding from education budgets (and now federal funds as well) yet operate outside of the regular oversight making them the perfect vehicle for self-dealing for politically connected to just divert education funds into their own pockets. A significant driver of the anti-woke agenda came from people seeing an opportunity to create an environment where the demand for charter schools would increase. And so here we are, the wife of the presumed next governor screwing families (beyond the usual charter school fucker of actually delivering a second rate education) and leaving them with no school to go to while funneling state and federal education funds into her own pockets

Should just call them what they are: White Nationalist proving grounds.
