I gave it about 6 months before there would be a break up.
My other prediction is a bit more wild, but I predicted that Elon Musk would end up coming back into the Democrat fold before the next Presidential election.
It is going to be interesting to see how much fallout there will be between Elon and Trump/Maga. If they tear each other apart, and if a credible Democrat emerges with a message that brings hope, and helps the American people turn the page on this nasty chapter, bring it on.

More importantly, he stated today that he would seek to torpedo the supposedly incoming sanctions on Russia in Congress. Not unecpected, but incredibly problematic.
Heâs in Putinâs pocket. Putin will allow him a certain independence, I think mostly to keep up appearances, but as soon as Putin really wants something, Trump invariably does his bidding.

I am not so optimistic. I donât think this will cause terminal damage to Trump or MAGA and the social-pornography is only so interesting in itself after a few days.
But right now, it is funny. That it is. But the question is how important it is.
Well, I think there is a split on the right between the fiscal conservatives and the rabid fascist ideologues.
The small government libertarians wonât like the huge government overreach that the faschos love. This conflict will emerge sooner or later.
I agree about that, but I think that when it comes to the important votes, those who went with Trump this time, will mostly do so again despite hating aspects of the bills. Because so far, the fiscal conservaties have eaten it all. Many of the fiscal conservatives went Independent or even Democrat after Trump anyway. I have little hope for the sniveling cowardly worms that are left. When you have slithered so far on the slimy Path of the Cretinous Worm, there is a tendency to slither forwards unto slimy ignoble death, instead of turning around and find principles and ethics again.
Many worms have turned, but they turned in 2016 and 2020 and 2021. Few will turn now, so deep unto their slitering path of the fiend.
Simpletons like me might think that Musk could have already done this before the House vote, but then Iâm not a genius like Elon. Probably needed that stupid key first.
