Funny how much handwringing there is about the use of lethal force well within Cuban territorial waters, when the US has been summarily executing people nowhere near US waters. Flobs said this thread is bananas, does this mean he thinks it’s full of black people? How could his use of that word be construed as racist in this context? You actually think it’s enough of a possibility that he should remove or edit his post. So how and why?

How does it apply to this thread…well only a couple of posts above there was a discussion about Gavin Newsome contextualising his poor exam results and in doing so he compared himself to Black people.

I am struggling to understand why you have taken this so personally. It was not directed at you and I haven’t accused Flobs of any wrong doing.
I have only questioned/highlighted how the post “maybe” interpreted. Furthermore, I stated “I personally would edit/remove”, I never instructed him to.

Exactly, I was ‘wading’ through the posts and just couldn’t get the thought that ‘this is fucking bananas’ out of my mind. Do decided to post the word that I couldn’t get out of my head. Yes, it was the thought of bananas as in, nuts, crazy, loopy …
It didn’t cross my mind that anyone actually reading this thread would, could interpret it in any other way or sense.
Lynch of course was far from my thoughts and calculations, not that I’m capable of calculating these things however I know the term and just wrote it.

I think I have explained myself in my other posts. Read it how you want but don’t dramatise it.
