Whether or not we’re able to bring in this lad, it does appear that our interest is genuine and we’re attempting to do so today.
Take it away!

London Buses?
Stop, just stop… You had me at ‘He is comfortable defending large spaces, is great aerially and effortlessly hits the kind of diagonals Virgil van Dijk has been famed for’.
So how do we pronounce his name???
Du-Je Ca-Le-Ta Car
Yeah thats it.
Duye Chaleta-Tsar.
Duke. That’s what we would call him.
So… fill us in, mate: is he good? You must know him inside out as I know you.
This is a good scout report on him (plus some other candidates), was already posted yesterday in the unreliable thread but has since got a bit lost in there, makes sense to reproduce it here.
If we are looking for two CBs today does that mean Matip is out for longer than a month?
And what about squad size and homegrown quota? Could we face any problems there?
Latest I read on Joel is that we’re sending him to a specialist for a proper prognosis. I’m not a medical expert by any means, but to me that sounds like it’s unlikely to be good news.
Now this gets me excited. @Zoran, eagerly awaiting your scouting report!
Got a feeling this is pretty close, I don’t see how we can go from a player described as heir-apparant (statistically wise) to Van Dijk to a Lovren-mark-2.
Oh crap. I was practicing his name
With reports that Kabak will be loan with only an option to buy, maybe after season we send Kabak packing and come back in for Car. There are about 5 names that have been floated, and Kabak seems to be below all of them, but is available. So maybe Car is one to watch for the summer.
Dude, where’s my Car?
Had a lovely head of hair and beard. Fuming I can’t see this every week
Pity. This was the only target which I found really appealing. Maybe we’ll be back in for him next summer, who knows.
Sounds like Marseille wouldnt play ball, so we did the next best thing and incentivised Kabak, while giving ourselves room to see how it all pans out.
