Does Tuchel have a thing against creative players? Foden, Palmer, Wharton and TAA have been all left out. He couldn’t find a spot for one of them?

All have had very mixed seasons and Foden can’t even make the Man City team. I would say Morgan Gibbs White probably has the biggest gripe as he has been in form and not been picked. Anderson has evidently gone ahead of Wharton (Though I’d have gone Wharton for Henderson)

It’s a valid argument, but then again John Stones made the squad, and he hardly set foot on a pitch this season.

Not that it matters too much, but not to have a Liverpool player in England’s first 26 players for a major tournament is disappointing. That rarely happened, possibly never in my following.

We haven’t played well enough this season.
We had negative and even worse seasons than this one, but with England internationals.
Swap Burn, Spence, Toney, Madueke for Hall, Trent, Palmer, Dowman

Taking a dispassionate view, I would have taken Maguire though. Definite goal threat from set pieces especially if you are behind..

Jones (Hardly played)
Freddie Woodman (3rd choice goalie)
Rio (17 years old and going as part of the camp)

Jones is 12th in terms of total minutes for Liverpool this season and I think he should’ve played more (maybe wouldn’t have gone regardless). I’m not saying I necessarily expected Tuchel to call up one of our players. But from our perspective, for me, it’s generally disappointing to have this situation in which we don’t have a clear Liverpool player in England’s first 26.

I just don’t think there is any realistic options for Tuchel, glad to see Quansah being rewarded mind.
