I’m really glad that Rio will now have the chance to rest and then to prepare for the next season. No more international media circus for the time being.
And hopefully he’ll show Bayern the middle finger if they come snuffing around again. Liverpool is the club where he’ll improve and achieve his potential.
England can perfectly live without him this summer.

It is so nice to hear how highly regarded Jordan Henderson is in the England team.
I sometimes think now, some us fans, (myself included) were too critical of Jordan at times and we never fully appreciated him as a player and how important he was in the team. He was always being compared to Steven Gerarrd, which was abit unfair.
I think Jürgen made us realise it what key player he was in the winning Klopp era. Even then, we would sometimes complain he didn’t do this , he didn’t do that.
One realises afterwards, what an excellent motivational Captain he was and humble human being as well.
