Doesn’t look anything like Cole Palmer though.

Wouldn’t Gordon be the better witch as he looks a bit like an old crone.

He’s aged himself about 20 years.

Hope Tuchel wins solely because he’s a German and it boils the right amount of piss of the people who are generally cnuts.

And Maguire can still fuck off, he looks slow in 12 degrees.

It reminds me of that time a kid “cut” their hair to look like Sven Goran-Eriksson:

So Tuchel wants to use Quansah only as a fullback on both sides and not as a CB :joy:

He has played fullback for us, and looked ok doing so didn’t he?

Yes two or three years ago. He’s 23 now and should concentrate on playing as a CB. The way some posters talk about him and want us to buy him back - shouldn’t he be ahead of Konsa, Burn, and 32y.o. Stones?

A lot of us were frustrated we didn’t go in for Guehi when we had the chance and today he is also behind Konsa and a 32‑year‑old Stones.

But that’s kind of the point: international selections aren’t always a perfect reflection of who the “best” players are or how they perform at club level. Tuchel, for example, has shown today he prefers Madueke over someone like Saka, and most Arsenal fans would say that’s bonkers.

Just because a national team manager rates things a certain way doesn’t automatically mean selling Quansah was the right call or that he isn’t worth bringing back. .

Saka is basically nursing a very bruised Achilles tendon on his left foot. And he will have to be managed throughout the World Cup. That’s why Noni is starting. Saka can’t last the whole 90 minutes.

I also think, Tuchel should and possibly will use his wingers like Andoni does, tell them to go for it when they start and have others to come to keep the intensity up.

BTW also thought James looked better when he went into midfield.

Do these supporters have any other songs in their repertoire than “Engerlund Engerlund Engerlund” or “God Save the King”?

‘The world in Motion’ featuring John Barnes.

Most of the quality of songs Engerland are rubbish!
