My egoistic point of view is I hope he is out for 2-3 weeks and misses out of the Euros.

Same for Hendo.

We all know England will ā€˜bottleā€™ it and I donā€™t want any Liverpool players to be involved.

England probably never had so many promising players and had some success (even more with the youth teams) in the last few years but I feel like the downward spiral has already begun with the Under 21 Euros a few weeks ago.

Comparing to what Germany has at the moment I am kind of jealous of the players Southgate can pick from (if everyone is fit).

Never been less interested in a tournament for as long as I can remember.

But no matter how ā€˜boringā€™ the German team has looked in the past in the tournaments they usually show up.

And England itā€™s also the same old story. Bad manager. No world class goalkeeper. No leader / too many wannabe leaders. Off pitch problems (think Kaneā€™s future planing will be a big distraction during the EUROs).

I kind of am looking forward to it, only in the sense itā€™s a month of football I can just watch and not be too arsed about.

Every Liverpool game for about 3 years has felt like it had something riding on it, probably why I got quite interested in the Championship, still English football but something I can watch that would annoy me for the day.
