one of the pundits pre game was saying that Italy have never scored more than two in a game at the Euros. Wonder if that’ll change today

Italy undefeated in the last 28 games. Have not let a goal in in their last 8 ! Just noticed this statistic and it is phenomenal almost irrespective of who they have played against. I did not know this.

Going back to that handball shout against Celik in the first half- guaranteed penalty if that’s against a Liverpool player in the Premier League. Very similar to the one given against Joe Gomez at the Emptihad last season.
Just goes to show how much better football is when there’s no agenda.

In the Premier League and in Serie A it is a clear penalty due to the new hands rule. But this ref does not use it. Let us hope it is the same throughout the championship and that we won’t see hands on similar situations later on. Because then this would be a big ref mistake.

Rarely have I seen a game in international football where one team is so utterly dominating the other in all aspects of play. No chance ever for Turkey to get back in this.
And as I write this, 3-0 and it is absolutely 100% deserved.
